Getting started
What do I need to run ChronoSet?
An iPhone running iOS 26.5 or later. ChronoSet is designed for iPhone.
Is ChronoSet free?
Yes. All five watch types, and plenty of dials, hands, markers and complications, are free. Enough for trillions of dial combinations. Two optional one-time packs “Customisation” and “Complications”, or an Unlock Everything bundle, add even more options. There is no subscription.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in.
Purchases
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the Store (the bag icon at the top of the screen) and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, so use the same one you bought with. It works on any iPhone.
How do I redeem a code?
In the Store, tap Redeem Code and enter the code you were given.
I bought a pack but it still looks locked.
Tap Restore Purchases in the Store, and check that you are signed in to the Apple Account you bought with. If it is still locked, email us with the order ID from your Apple receipt.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
Desk Stand Mode and StandBy
What is Desk Stand Mode?
Desk Stand Mode is a ChronoSet feature. While your iPhone is charging and still, and ChronoSet is open, the controls fade away after a minute and only the dial stays, on a black screen. Turn it on or off in Settings (the gear icon) under Desk Stand Mode.
Does Desk Stand Mode lock my iPhone?
No. It keeps the screen awake, so your iPhone stays unlocked while it runs, and it is not a security feature. To keep your iPhone locked while it shows a dial, use StandBy instead.
How do I show ChronoSet in StandBy?
StandBy is an iOS feature. Make sure StandBy is enabled in iOS Settings → StandBy. Add the ChronoSet widget to StandBy’s widget screen (touch and hold the screen to edit it, then tap +), and touch and hold the ChronoSet widget to choose which of the five faces it shows. StandBy appears when your iPhone is charging on its side.
Why does StandBy show no seconds hand?
Widgets can’t animate a moving hand between updates, so the StandBy dial shows hours and minutes. Desk Stand Mode shows the live seconds hand.
Privacy
Does ChronoSet collect my data?
There are no accounts, and ChronoSet never asks for your name, email, location, contacts or photos. When analytics are enabled, it sends a snapshot of your settings once, when the app launches, with no account or device ID, to learn how the app is used — never to identify anyone.
How do I turn analytics off?
In Settings (the gear icon) → About ChronoSet, switch off Share Usage Analytics. If you don’t see the switch, your version of ChronoSet doesn’t send analytics.
